Growing
up in the Midwest, I was introduced to my love of auto racing in 1982 by
two time Indycar Series Champion Bobby Rahal, Since then I've had
some unforgettable opportunities to drive Busch Series cars at Talladega & Daytona, attend hundreds of races as well as work for The Richard Petty Driving Experience
in 2005.
Upon earning a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University in 1992, it was time to put the degree to work
and I built my first business.
Rolling Green Inc. was a commercial landscape company that I operated until 1999
when I later left to help my family
revive a 20 year national coffee retailer which was nearly bankrupt. Three
years later, the company was profitable and on the verge of being purchased by
Starbucks Coffee. I was then recruited by Hotties Gourmet Donuts, LLC. The company's website was
non-existent except for a few splash pages and wholesale revenues were zero. As
eCommerce Marketing Manager, I grew the wholesale business to over
$1,000,000. In 2003, Hotties was named Best Donuts In Orlando by a local
newspaper. Hotties is currently selling 3 times more donuts in Central
Florida than any other domestic market for BP Connect. This includes Krispy Kreme's products which were being offered in most
other markets.
Wanting to further expand my ecommerce marketing skills, I pursued a career in
2006 with Lowe's Home Improvement that I absolutely love. Still attend every race possible but 4
boys can put a damper on a racing schedule for now. Fortunately they are almost
old enough to start attending the races and get hooked at an age where they can
possibly begin a racing career of their own.
